Mail for you[at]crmail[dot]org
One mailbox. Add a word after a plus sign when you need an address you can burn later.
What this is
Most mail hosts turned the inbox into a signup sheet. They want a phone number, a legal name, and a record of every shop you wrote to. crMail asks for an address and a password. That is the account.
Addresses
- you[at]crmail[dot]org
- The mailbox you keep.
- you+alias[at]crmail[dot]org
- A burnable alias. Mail to it still arrives in your mailbox. When you are done with that tag, you can drop it.
A custom domain can be supported. Write to support[at]crmail[dot]org for that.
Can you trust this?
Trust the parts you can check. This website is one of them. It sets no cookies, it stores nothing in the browser, and it loads only from this domain.
Do not trust a promise about mail you did not encrypt yourself. Any host can read a message that arrives in the clear, even if the mailbox is locked afterwards. When the contents matter, encrypt them with the person you are writing to before you send them. Then take a copy and delete it here.
What we will not do is read your mail to sell advertising, or keep a profile of how you read it. The mailbox uses open standards, so it is not locked to one app.
The warrant canary lists the legal demands that have not arrived. If that page goes quiet, notice.
